Sherai Group facilitated the visit of Nobel Prize-winning physicist Professor Konstantin Novoselov to a partner research institute. The two sides reached a preliminary agreement on joint graphene carbon materials research, bringing top-tier international expertise into the field of advanced materials.

In October 2023, Dr. Nuruzzaman Noor, officially joined the Huyuan Advanced Metal Materials Research Institute in Wuxing District, Huzhou, as Director of the R&D Center. With previous appointments at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Imperial College London, Dr. Noor brings deep expertise in materials science and extensive experience in research and industrial transformation. His arrival is expected to significantly enhance the institute’s capabilities in high-performance metal materials and international scientific collaboration.

The launch coincided with the Sixth Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Graphene Conference, where the Nuclear Source Metallic Materials Research Institute took part in a major milestone for the industry. The event marked progress in establishing standards and advancing the carbon materials sector.

Professor Luigi from the University of Cambridge delivered a specialized lecture at the Sherai Group Research Institute on the application of graphene-based carbon materials in the textile industry. Focusing on cutting-edge developments, the lecture provided in-depth insights into the performance and industrial integration of graphene materials. The session offered valuable guidance to both researchers and technical teams from enterprises, accelerating collaboration between academia and industry in the field of advanced carbon materials.
